Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.”
― Corrie ten Boom
There’s a period in our life where we’re swamped with assignments and projects, deadlines back-to-back. Whenever we get a rare respite from it all, there’s an exam or test lurking around the corner. We spend our time worrying about the grades we’re going to receive and what we’re going to do when the next deadline is shoved under our nose. But what we don’t realize is that time is trickling away as we wring our hands, fretting about what could be. Every minute spent worrying could be used to do something productive or just something that you enjoy! Worrying isn’t going to change what will be tomorrow. If you’ve done whatever you can about the situation, let it be. Some things are just out of our control; there’s no point conjuring up what ifs in your head. What if this post is a fail? Stop those thoughts and do something you enjoy! (or that piece of work you’ve been putting off.)
